A man who requires round-the-clock personal assistance following an accident is now seeking a new assistant for a position of approximately 50%. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to a safe, active, and meaningful daily life for the client.

Employment Type

The employment begins initially as an hourly contract. After the introduction period, the position will transition to a "fixed-term" contract (as long as the assignment lasts) if it feels right for the client.

Working Hours

Work shifts are scheduled as follows:

• 08:30–21:30
• 15:00–21:30

Working hours are planned in consultation with the client's other assistants.

About the Client

The client appreciates an active and social life. He enjoys:

• Long walks
• Puzzles and crafts
• Sports
• Gardening

He also has a strong interest in cars and enjoys talking about everything from car talk to everyday thoughts. The home is shared with a beloved cat – therefore, it is important that you are not allergic to or dislike cats.

Job Responsibilities

You will assist with everything that occurs in the home, both practically and socially. Responsibilities include, among other things:

• Personal care and hygiene
• Daily lifting and use of hoists
• Walks and mobility assistance
• Cooking and household chores
• Supporting the client's interests, e.g., gardening depending on the season

If you enjoy cooking and have an interest in gardening, that is definitely a plus – the client is very knowledgeable about gardening and is happy to share his expertise.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a man or woman of middle age who is:

• Willing to work, cheerful, and social
• Physically strong and capable of performing several lifts daily
• Comfortable with long walks
• Allergy-free and positive towards cats
• Non-smoker (smoking is not allowed at the workplace)

Having an interest in cars is also an asset.
