About the Assignment

We are now looking for dedicated and responsible personal assistants for a child with disabilities.

The work takes place at home and during activities in the community.

Your main duties

As a personal assistant, you will be a crucial support for the child's safety, development, and participation in everyday life. The work includes, among other things:

• Support with personal hygiene, toilet visits, showering, and care
• Dressing and undressing, including support in choosing clothes
• Feeding and supervision during meals – ensuring nutritional intake and preventing choking risks
• Communication and interpretation of the child's signals (non-verbal)
• Preventing risk behaviors and outbursts, including diversion and calming interventions
• Accompanying during activities, outdoor stays, and excursions
• Self-care (e.g., medication, applying ointments)
• Safe presence, structure, and continuity in everyday life

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is secure, patient, and able to act professionally even in demanding situations. You need to be attentive, clear, and have a good sense of the child's needs – both in terms of communication, structure, and safety.

Requirements:

• Physical and mental endurance – the work can be both physically and emotionally demanding
• Flexibility and sense of responsibility
• Good collaboration skills and respect for the child's integrity and the family's wishes

Meritorious:

• Experience working with children with autism, intellectual disabilities
• Speaking Arabic

Before you start

For this assignment, a criminal record extract for work with children with disabilities is required, which we will request in connection with employment. It is a prerequisite for starting work in the assignment.
