Are you ready for the future? We are – and now we are looking for you!

Since the new Social Services Act came into force, we are undergoing a comprehensive and meaningful change process. The law strengthens preventive work and emphasizes accessibility, equality, and evidence-based interventions.

A central part of our development is that we are adopting an even more family-oriented approach. This means that we always see the individual in their context and that our interventions, assessments, and plans are based on the entire family's resources, needs, and goals – whether it concerns children, youth, or adults. By strengthening families' own abilities and creating sustainable and coordinated solutions, we want to make a real difference.

This is particularly significant for the role of SIP Coordinator, where the task is to gather all relevant actors and ensure a clear, cohesive, and functioning coordinated individual plan. The assignment includes children, youth, and adults, and you will work across the municipality in close collaboration with, for example, the child and education administration and the care administration.

Does this sound like something for you? We look forward to your application!

Your role with us

As a SIP Coordinator, you will have a central and development-driven role in the municipality's work with coordination around children, youth, and adults. You will work both strategically and operationally, and have a key function in ensuring that collaboration around the individual works – for real. Since the position is new, there are good opportunities to shape the role.

Your assignment includes following up and developing the SIP work at an overarching level. This means that you:

  • follow up SIP at the operational level, identify deviations, and highlight collaboration issues.
  • monitor current information and developments regarding SIP at the regional and national level.
  • actively work to improve the quality of the SIP work and ensure that methods and documentation meet high standards.
  • ensure that employees have the right skills through training and competency-enhancing measures at both basic and advanced levels.

You will also work operationally in cases where collaboration challenges us, focusing on ensuring that the SIP process works for the individuals and families we meet. This means that you:

  • prepare, call for, lead, and participate in SIP meetings.
  • support caseworkers and other actors in more complex cases where coordination is particularly challenging – for example, when our services need to meet the individual's needs at the intersection of different authorities.
  • act as a hub in strengthening collaboration with relevant parties and creating functioning structures where support is kept together.

Who are we looking for?

You who are applying should have a degree in social work and at least two years of experience in authority work within social services. A driver's license (B) is required for the position so that you can easily get around our municipality if needed.

In your professional role, you should understand how different assignments and legislation affect the work, and you have the ability to create common solutions based on the individual's needs. You are used to coordinating interventions and have worked in structures such as collaboration groups or other forms of cross-professional work. You have good communication skills and can build trusting relationships with both colleagues and external actors.

The ability to plan and organize your work is an advantage, as well as being able to follow up and complete activities.

When a candidate is offered employment, those who work directly and regularly with children must show a police certificate according to the provisions of the Social Services Act 2013:852.
