As an employee of Höör Municipality, you will have the opportunity to work in an organization that is constantly evolving. We place great value on interaction and work together to create a good working atmosphere through open and constructive dialogue, respect, and tolerance towards colleagues and citizens. A high level of service, professionalism, and commitment characterize our organization.

Are you an engaged and curious social worker interested in working with us in individual and family care in Höör? As an employee with us, you will receive a tailored introduction based on your individual needs, internal and external supervision, and flexible working hours.

We strive to maintain a good atmosphere at the workplace, close leadership, supportive colleagues, good laughs, and challenges. The size of the municipality allows for close collaboration and short decision-making paths.

In the adult group, where this position is included, we work with authority exercises related to harmful use/dependency and violence in close relationships, treatment within harmful use/dependency, and financial assistance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibility, respect, trust, and interaction have long been our core values, and the concept of KASAM is central to our work.

The position is part of an expansion of the Adult Unit, and you will be part of a team around the citizen while also working independently based on your assignments.

The position is a 50% permanent position, completely new and in the startup phase, and we look forward to benefiting from your knowledge and experience to continue shaping this role and meeting the needs of citizens with harmful use/dependency and/or violence in close relationships.

The position is primarily an execution role, which means you will work operationally with interventions based on decisions, implementation plans, and assignments from the case management function.

Your role includes supporting and motivating citizens based on their individual needs related to housing situations concerning harmful use/dependency and/or violence in close relationships. Tasks may include supervision of citizens according to agreements with landlords, support in temporary housing from a protection perspective, and/or assisting citizens in contact with, for example, healthcare, Employment Agency, and Social Insurance Agency.

Furthermore, it is important to map and observe the needs present in the citizen's home environment to provide feedback to the case management social worker if additional support is needed.

The role also includes qualified social work, collaboration, and practical support in preventing evictions and strengthening the individual's opportunity for stable and long-term housing. The position will involve some administrative work in the form of establishing and following up on procedures regarding housing issues.

You will work on building relationships, be structured, and provide supportive work focused on safety, recovery, and independence.

We offer a meaningful job where you contribute to safety, change, and new opportunities for people in vulnerable situations every day. You are part of an engaged team with regular supervision and professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or education that the employer considers equivalent. We prefer that you have experience working with violence in close relationships and/or harmful use/dependency.

The work requires clarity, professional boundaries, and the ability to handle complex life situations with respect and empathy.

We prefer that you have experience working with low-arousal approaches, are used to building relationships, see the challenge in handling acute situations, and are independent yet collaborative.

Furthermore, you are curious, solution-oriented, and enjoy working practically and variably with the target group.

If you have training and experience in MI, we consider it an advantage. We work with family councils, so it is beneficial if you have knowledge of or are interested in family councils.

A valid driver's license (B) is required. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability for the position.

Does this sound interesting? Then we think you should contact us so we can meet and discuss how we could work together. Welcome with your application!

OTHER

The position will be filled subject to the necessary political decisions being made and that it is not needed for internal use.

We apply ongoing selection, which means we can call for interviews before the application period has ended.

As an employee of Höör Municipality, you have access to wellness benefits as an employment benefit, and we also apply smoke-free working hours.

In preparation for the recruitment process, we have made decisions regarding recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore kindly ask for no contact from media sellers, recruitment sites, or similar.
