Kooperativet Hand i Hand is a member-driven organization established in 1995 for individuals entitled to assistance. Our members are located in Skåne, Halland, southern Småland, Västra Götaland, Stockholm, and Jämtland. We have offices in Halmstad, Hässleholm, and Malmö. We support our members with everything from applying for hours with Försäkringskassan/the municipality to personnel issues regarding personal assistants. We believe that the work of a personal assistant is one of the most important jobs there is, as it provides an opportunity for another person to live their life like everyone else.

We are now looking for you who want to work extra as a personal assistant for one or more of our members.

The working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and night with on-call or awake night shifts. Some shifts are shorter, while others are full-day shifts. Weekend work is also included.

We are looking for someone who is interested in working with people; we prefer that you have previously worked as a personal assistant or in a similar role, but this is not a requirement. As a personal assistant, you help a person make their everyday life work. This can involve assistance with hygiene, cleaning, and cooking, but also enabling activities that the person enjoys, such as going to watch a match, taking a bike ride, or dining out.

As a substitute, you are an important resource in the group and provide security if an assistant becomes ill or is on vacation. For this position, it is an advantage if you are flexible with your working hours; perhaps you are studying remotely and want a job on the side, or maybe you have another part-time job and want to fill in with a few more hours. If you are interested in working more during the summer, there is also the opportunity to continue with a summer substitute position with a fixed schedule over the summer.

Our members are children and adults with different wishes and requirements for you as an assistant, so you will need to answer some questions as part of your application to help us match your application to the right position. For some positions, there are, for example, requirements for a driver's license, and some members may have pets at home, which may mean that you are not suitable for that particular person.
