Furuboda Assistans is a private assistance provider in southern Sweden with roots in the non-profit Furuboda Association. The company was established in 2005 and is a growing business. About the position

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant to a pleasant man in his 60s living with ALS. He lives in his own home and has a well-functioning assistance organization with dedicated colleagues.

The position includes day shifts (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM), evening shifts (5:00 PM – 10:00 PM), and night shifts (10:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with on-call duty at night.

Job responsibilities

The work involves providing support in all aspects of daily life – such as personal care, transfers, meals, and household chores – but also being a social support and contributing to creating a safe, active, and meaningful existence.

You will work closely with the client and become an important part of his daily life. Therefore, it is important that you have good listening skills, respect for privacy, and a genuine interest in working with people.

• Has experience in care or personal assistance (preferable, but personal qualities are highly valued)
