Olssons Funeral Home in Helsingborg is one of Sweden's oldest funeral homes, celebrating 100 years in 2022. For as long as we have existed, we have helped our customers through the entire process of planning and carrying out a beautiful funeral. This has given us extensive experience in designing all types of funerals according to our customers' various wishes.

Working with funerals is varied, eventful, and requires a good understanding of people's wishes. Some of the tasks as a ceremony host and transporter include:

• Acting as a representative in churches, chapels, and other gathering places in connection with ceremonies, which means overall responsibility for ensuring that the ceremony meets the customer's order satisfactorily
• Handling the deceased during personal farewells and preparation for the ceremony
• Performing pickups of the deceased in private homes and residences
• Vehicle care – our vehicles should be as well-maintained as our service

At J. Olssons with offices in Helsingborg, Råå, Bjuv, and Berga, we are now looking for a colleague who will be based at our office in central Helsingborg. Within the customer area, we work as a team and help each other, which means you will have the opportunity to work throughout the customer area and surrounding areas. The position is a permanent full-time employment. We apply a six-month probationary period.

Who are you?

You are our voice and face to the outside world, and therefore we see that you have a strong commitment to our customers, radiate security, and are motivated to help in various situations in the best possible way. You are curious, enjoy changing things for the better, and do not hesitate to come up with new ideas. For this role, we also see that it is important that:

• You have a driver's license and access to your own car
• You have good physical condition as several heavy lifts occur in the work
• You are structured and have a very good ability to plan and organize your work even when the pace varies
• You have previous experience of working with the customer in focus
• You are available for standby work outside of office hours, including evenings and weekends

It is a merit if you speak multiple languages or have experience in our or related fields.
