Do you want to be part of an organization where relationships, safety, and development are in focus?
We at Agnes HVB are now looking for dedicated treatment assistants who want to work with young people in need of support, structure, and guidance.
About Agnes HVB
Agnes HVB accepts boys and girls aged 16–20 with psychosocial issues, relationship difficulties, mental health problems, low self-esteem, and emotional imbalance. We also reach out to young people who are in unsuitable environments, have committed minor offenses, or experimented with drugs.
The operation is staffed around the clock, and the treatment work is based on a salutogenic approach and motivational work, focusing on strengthening protective factors, TMO, and low-arousal responses. We actively work with the youth's network and place great importance on ensuring that placed youth have meaningful activities, either in school or internships.
Agnes HVB also has access to Västerbo's cross-professional treatment team. The team consists of psychiatrists, trauma-specialized psychologists, occupational therapists, and CBT therapists/social workers. Our goal is for the young person, during the treatment period, to develop into an independent, safe, and responsible individual.
About the role
As a treatment assistant at Agnes HVB, you will:
- Work closely with the youth and support them in their daily lives, school/employment, and leisure
- Create and maintain a safe and stable environment through relationship-building and clear boundaries
- Use evidence-based methods in daily work and work with the materials Livbojen and Ledstjärnan
- Collaborate in a team with colleagues and the cross-professional treatment team
- Document and work based on implementation plans and individual needs
- Work night shifts (not day shifts). This means working all hours of the day with sleeping on-call duties.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has:
- Post-secondary education, at least two years, in social pedagogy, behavioral science, pedagogy, or other equivalent education (YH or university)
- Experience working as a treatment assistant/social pedagogue within HVB, institutional care, or similar operations
- Experience with KSL and A-CRA is an advantage
- Good documentation skills and experience in social work
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team
- B driver's license (requirement)
We offer
- A meaningful and developing job where you make a difference every day
- A professional and dedicated team with broad expertise in treatment and care
- Ongoing training and supervision in our methods
- Wellness benefits and good employment conditions
- Full-time position with start date according to agreement
Welcome to Agnes HVB – where we believe in relationships, safety, and development!
