We are now looking for a new employee for our operation Astern.

Mission

Astern is aimed at children and young people aged 1-21 years and includes both short-term supervision and short-term stays. Short-term supervision is for school-age youth over 12 years who need supervision before and after school as well as during holidays and study days.

Short-term stays for children and young people between 1 and 21 years, or as long as they live at home to get recreation and a change of environment, as well as to provide relief for relatives. The short-term stay can accommodate up to 4 children and young people per night.

The support is individually tailored to each child's and young person's needs and aims to promote development and independence. The goal of the operation is to offer children and young people a meaningful stay with their needs and wishes at the center, as well as to provide relief for parents.

Main tasks as a support assistant include

• Guiding, advising, and supporting the children during their stay
• Using methods that facilitate communication and approaches.
• Using educational aids.
• Responsible for social documentation and the establishment of implementation plans.

Qualifications

We welcome you who have completed education in the child and youth program, with a focus on children with special needs, leisure leaders, or other educational training relevant to the target group. If you have experience working with children and young people with disabilities and knowledge of low-arousal approaches, we see it as an advantage. You should have knowledge of cognitive support and clarifying pedagogy, as well as experience in documentation within the profession.

To succeed in this role, you should be secure, structured, and responsible. You place a high value on having a good approach towards both users and colleagues as well as relatives. You have a strong commitment, and it is natural for you to share your knowledge and experiences with your coworkers. If you are a team player with the ability to collaborate in a small group and are flexible, open to development and change with a positive engagement for working with people, then you are the right person for us. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A driver's license B is a requirement.

Working hours/duration

Permanent employment with immediate start or by agreement. Full-time employment. Day/evening/night/weekend.
