Substitute for Youth Leisure

Youth Leisure is an open activity for young people aged 13–18 in Svedala municipality, offering safe and inclusive meeting places in Svedala and Bara, with openings as needed in Klågerup. The operation is based on youth influence and participation with the goal of creating a meaningful leisure time for all young people in the municipality.

We are now looking for substitutes who can staff our open activities as needed, often at short notice.

Responsibilities

As a substitute at Youth Leisure, you will work proactively and relationship-building in our open meeting places for young people. You will have the opportunity to contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and developing leisure time for young people in the municipality. Your main tasks include:

• Building relationships with young people and supporting their development
• Creating a safe and positive environment where everyone feels welcome
• Following the organization’s routines and guidelines
• Contacting guardians as needed

As a substitute, you are expected to work at the meeting places in Svedala and Bara, and as needed also in Klågerup. Our opening hours are:

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
• Fridays from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Saturdays from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM

As a substitute, you will be booked as needed, often at short notice.

Qualifications

To thrive in the role of substitute at Youth Leisure, we prefer that you have:

• Post-secondary education in, for example, leisure leadership, social pedagogy, or another relevant field
• Experience working with young people, preferably in open leisure activities
• A confident and proactive personality, as well as good communication skills
• The ability to handle conflicts and create a positive meeting place
• A valid driver's license (B)

You must be able to present a current extract from the criminal record for "Extract for work with children in activities other than school and childcare" upon potential employment. Working Hours/Duration

Staffing in the evenings as needed and at short notice: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Fridays from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Saturdays from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
