Job Responsibilities
The Support Housing Section is part of the IFO department for children and family services and targets children and youth aged 15-21 who need independence training in their apartments.
As a treatment assistant, you will be responsible for supervision in the placed children's apartments together with your colleagues, as well as providing motivating and supportive interventions in their daily lives. You will be involved in all aspects concerning the young person, such as working with a network of professionals as well as family, relatives, and friends. The assignment is characterized by a holistic approach, which requires close collaboration with social services, guardians, schools, healthcare, and other professionals. Additionally, you will be responsible for establishing implementation plans and keeping journal notes, as well as conducting conversations with the young person and their network. You should contribute to ensuring that children and young people receive a safe and professional response. You are active and work towards quality processes and organizational development with the goal of stimulating and motivating the young person to develop their abilities.
Working hours include days, evenings, and weekends, and we are also looking for staff for awake night shifts. Please indicate in the selection questions which position you are interested in.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with an academic education of at least 4 semesters in social work, the social work program, social pedagogy, or another education deemed equivalent by the employer. A B driver's license and experience with a manual transmission are required.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Training in BBIC, MI, Repulse, HAP, or other methods related to working with children and youth (for example, low-arousal approach)
- Experience in individual and family social services work with various target groups
- Experience in social work with the target group of children and youth
Since the work involves a lot of good communication, documentation, and conversations, we want you to have a very good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
As a person, we see that you have good collaboration skills. You listen, show interest and understanding for others, and are open and work to create a good climate. You reflect on your own actions and can both give and receive feedback. You have the ability to plan and organize your work but also possess a flexibility that allows you to easily adapt to different situations and changing circumstances.
The position also requires that you are secure and stable in yourself, have the ability to keep your emotions under control in difficult situations, and can prioritize and work effectively even under pressure. You have self-awareness and dare to make your own decisions on various issues and can distinguish between the personal and the professional.

Job Information
Employment form: Summer substitute on schedule + hourly employment
Start date: Summer substitute during June-August, you need to be able to work at least 2 weeks and preferably all working hours as mentioned above. There is an opportunity to start working hours during the spring.
Number of positions: approx. 7 summer substitutes
