Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for summer and hourly substitutes for Kriscentrum Boende Heder and Kriscentrum Boende, two operations within the Insats department. Kriscentrum Boende Heder is a HVB (home for care or accommodation) for girls and young women aged 14–22 who are exposed to honor-related violence and have a need for protection. Kriscentrum Boende is a protected accommodation for women exposed to violence and their children. All placements are made through social services, both planned and emergency. Staff assess the need for protection and throughout the placement period, staff work closely with the assigned social workers.

As a social worker, you will work with informative and supportive conversations, protection assessments, emergency calls via phone, documentation, and collaboration with social services, healthcare, lawyers, police, and community organizations. The work also consists of practical tasks in the accommodation as well as activities for children and adults both inside and outside the accommodation.

We are now recruiting summer and hourly substitutes for work during the day, evening, weekend, and night.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a social work student and have completed the law semester or have a degree in social work. It is an advantage if you have education and/or experience in the areas listed below:

• Honor-related violence
• Violence in close relationships
• Work in accommodation
• Patriark/HEVA
• FREDA
• TMO

As a person, we want you to have good collaboration skills that allow you to listen and show interest and understanding for other people. You have a good approach and the ability to create good relationships with others. Furthermore, you can plan your work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. You are driven, attentive, and adaptable to changing circumstances. Given the nature of the operations, it is of great importance that you are good at communicating and that you are confident in yourself.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. If you master other languages, this is an advantage. A driving license for a manual transmission car is desirable but not a requirement.
