Job Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who wants to work this summer within Structured Outpatient Care LARO. The service offers outpatient care for individuals facing various life challenges, aiming to improve adherence to medical treatment and enhance quality of life. Initially, we work hands-on with practical matters, transitioning to a more recovery-oriented approach over time. The intervention should be effective and accessible based on individual needs.
The intervention is tailored to the individual's needs and consists of psychosocial support and practical assistance, including group activities and meals. The role involves collaboration with both the client’s case manager and other stakeholders the individual is in contact with.
The semi-structured outpatient care takes place during the day from Monday to Friday.
The service has a total of 12 places that residents of Malmö can apply for through their social worker at IFO Investigation.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a completed or ongoing social work degree or another higher education deemed equivalent. You should also have good computer skills and the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:
- experience in social work with individuals facing substance abuse/risk use/dependency
- experience with individuals suffering from opioid dependency
- experience working with individuals in LARO
- experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders
- experience in a politically governed organization
- experience with documentation
- training in ÅP, MI, CM, CRA, recovery-oriented approaches, Mental Health First Aid
- valid driver’s license for manual transmission vehicles
In addition to the above, we want you to:
- Demonstrate initiative based on the client's specific needs
- Have an empathetic approach
- Have a harm reduction/good enough perspective
- Be resourceful and solution-focused
- Be flexible – you need to be able to switch between psychosocial support and practical tasks

Job Information
Employment type and start date: Summer temporary position weeks 25-35, you need to be able to work at least six weeks. We are also looking for on-call substitutes.
Scope: Full-time
Number of positions: 1 summer substitute.
Other
Interviews will be held digitally in weeks 10-11.
