Job Responsibilities
We are now looking for summer interns for day or night shifts, so take the chance to gain insight into our operations where we make a difference for families.
Work at Enebacken is based on a milieu therapeutic and attachment theoretical foundation where residents are offered the opportunity to plan their daily lives in a way that resembles home conditions and takes into account each family's own circumstances.
At Enebacken, there are two assessment houses and two treatment houses. Work at the assessment houses involves investigating parental capacity with the child's needs in focus, based on assignments from the placing social services. The assessments are conducted over a total of 8-12 weeks while the family resides in the department, which allows for a holistic perspective on family interactions and needs in care situations. In the treatment departments, work is focused on interaction/relationship treatment aimed at strengthening parental capacity and promoting a good attachment between children and parents. Treatment is based on the child's individual needs and aims to provide the child with a clear, predictable, and thus understandable daily situation to enable positive psychosocial development.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Work with families based on assignments, children's needs, and parents' abilities, such as interaction observations both at and outside of Enebacken. Therapeutic and investigative conversations with parents and children. Receiving emergency placements and handling admissions and discharges of families.
- Collaboration with, for example, social services or social emergency services.
- Administrative work, e.g., orders, updating information, etc.
- Documentation, e.g., record-keeping.
- Practical tasks, e.g., laundry and cleaning.
At Enebacken, we work around the clock 365 days a year. We are looking for you who can work scheduled hours with recurring evening and weekend work as well as staff for awake night shifts.
Qualifications
For daytime work, we are looking for you who have a degree in social work or are studying to become a social worker and have completed your internship term. For night work, the requirement is a degree in social work or social pedagogy. The positions also require computer skills, fluency in Swedish in speech and writing, and good English.
Experience from social services Individual and Family or treatment in institutions, as well as other social work with children and their families, is meritorious. A driver's license and knowledge of other languages are desirable but not required.
The job responsibilities place high demands on both independent work and good collaboration skills. You as a person take your own initiatives and are secure, stable, and can distinguish between the personal and professional. Furthermore, you easily adapt to changing circumstances and act effectively even when conditions change. You can quickly change your perspective and approach and see the opportunities in changes. Being attentive, respectful, and having a good ability to listen to the needs of families, the organization, and the clients is necessary, and from these, you can develop the work.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
About the Workplace
The mission of Enebacken is to receive and meet the need for assessment and treatment placements for children aged 0-12 years and their parents. The catchment area for the operation is primarily Malmö city. The operation is a 24-hour institution with the possibility of emergency placements in the two assessment houses.
Families live in the institution during the assessment period, which allows for a holistic perspective on family interactions and needs in care situations. The work is based on a milieu therapeutic and attachment theoretical foundation.

Job Information
Employment form: Summer internship
Scope: Full-time
Number: 10-12 (of which 2-3 night workers)
Start date: weeks 25-35, you need to be able to work at least 4 weeks but preferably more.

Interviews will be held at the workplace during weeks 10-11.
