Job Responsibilities

At Öppenvård vuxna Gustav, you have the opportunity to be part of an organization where the client's needs are always at the center. We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to the target group and a genuine interest in conversation therapy.

In this role, you will meet adults in various life situations with varying care needs. The work requires both flexibility and curiosity, as well as the ability to meet each individual where they are. Within the team, several different treatment methods are represented, and the organization is characterized by continuous development and learning.

A large part of the work consists of individual conversations, which means independent work, while you always have colleagues close at hand. You will have good opportunities to influence your work and be creative in the conversation process with the client. The position entails significant personal responsibility, but also being part of an engaged and supportive team.

The organization is part of Malmö City's collective efforts for the target group. We actively work to strengthen collaboration between different organizations and actors, with the goal of providing a cohesive, equitable, and accessible care for Malmö residents. Collaboration with both internal and external actors is therefore an important part of the assignment.

Evening work occurs one day a week according to the organization's opening hours until 6:30 PM. Other working hours are scheduled during office hours. The employer offers supervision and wellness benefits.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a social worker or has another higher education degree that the employer assesses as equivalent, and has completed basic training in psychotherapy (level 1) with a CBT focus.

You have experience in treatment work with adults with harmful use/dependency. Experience working with relatives within the framework of social work and familiarity with digital documentation systems is meritorious.

You have good communication skills and are confident in creating trustful and reliable relationships with clients. You take responsibility for your tasks and enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with others. You have a professional and respectful approach and adapt your working method based on the individual's needs.

You have good digital skills and express yourself fluently in speech and writing in Swedish. Additional language skills are meritorious.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

About the Workplace

Öppenvård vuxna Gustav offers conversation therapy for adults with harmful use/dependency regarding alcohol, drugs, and gambling. We also offer conversation therapy to relatives. In addition to individual conversations, groups with different focuses are conducted.

The organization is located in bright premises centrally in Malmö at Gustav Adolfs torg. The organization consists of 16 employees, including two reception secretaries and a section manager. There is great competence and experience to draw from within the team.
