Kooperativet Hand i Hand is a member-driven organization founded in 1995 for individuals entitled to assistance. Our members are located in Skåne, Halland, southern Småland, Västra Götaland, Stockholm, and Jämtland. We have offices in Halmstad, Hässleholm, and Malmö. We support our members with everything from applying for hours with Försäkringskassan/the municipality to personnel issues concerning personal assistants. We believe that the work of a personal assistant is one of the most important jobs there is, as it provides an opportunity for another person to live their life like everyone else.

Do you want a meaningful part-time job where you can make a difference - and at the same time join in on fun activities? We are looking for more personal assistants for a cheerful and active 14-year-old in Emmaljunga. He has been granted double assistance during all waking hours, which means you will always work together with a colleague. The shifts that need to be staffed now are weekday evenings and days off.

About the assignment

• 14-year-old boy with autism and intellectual disability.
• Needs support with structure, transitions between activities, and understanding of his surroundings.
• Is physical, playful, and loves being outdoors - you need to have the energy and willingness to join in.
• Activities may include swimming pools, playgrounds, forest walks, or playlands.

Working hours to be staffed

• Weekdays (school days): 4:30 PM - 8:00 PM
• Days off (weekends, holidays, study days, breaks): 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• Journal nights in combination with weekday evenings and day shifts or night shifts during weekends.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in personal assistance or similar work.
• Preferably has knowledge of autism and low-arousal approaches.
• Is confident, calm, and patient, and enjoys active work.
• Has a B driver's license (requirement) - the family lives in the countryside.
• Is not allergic to fur - the family has a dog.

Employment & conditions

• Extent: Part-time/hourly employment. Fixed shifts as above + on-call as needed.
• Workplace: Emmaljunga and surrounding areas, activities often take place outside the home.
• Salary and conditions: According to agreement.
• Start date: By agreement. Interviews are ongoing, and positions may be filled before the application deadline.
