Occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants work from a shared workplace in the Höör municipal building. The municipal building is centrally located in Höör, about a 10-minute walk from the train station.
We are on the same floor as the nurses, so the conditions for teamwork are good. A total of 19 people work in the unit for occupational therapists and physiotherapists, including rehabilitation assistants. The unit manager is on the same floor, which facilitates communication and the opportunity to discuss/ask questions.
We work with individuals in elderly care, care for people with disabilities, and social psychiatry.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The position is placed in the Health and Care Sector, where work is performed both in regular and special housing. As a rehabilitation assistant, your tasks will include relieving occupational therapists and physiotherapists with rehabilitation/training and assistive device matters on delegation. You will also be responsible for tasks and administration in our assistive device storage together with other colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a nursing assistant with experience in the profession, preferably within municipal care, or you are in training to become an occupational therapist/physiotherapist (at least completed training up to semester 4). We are looking for someone who can work independently, in a structured manner, with good judgment, and is confident in their professional role. The work requires flexibility, responsibility, and good communication and collaboration skills. Previous work with similar tasks is an advantage. Computer skills are required as all documentation is done in the Lifecare HSL system. A driver's license is required, and Swedish level C1 (according to the Council of Europe's scale) is necessary.
OTHER
The position will be filled provided that the necessary political decisions are made and that it does not need to be reserved for internal use.
