Amplius Omsorg is a healthcare chain primarily aimed at qualified assessments and treatments for children with or without parents. In May 2024, we opened Ljungbacken HVB focused on children aged 8-12 years. We are now developing our operations and are looking for an additional treatment leader to complement the team. You will be part of an exciting journey where you have the opportunity to shape the operations together with us.

About Ljungbacken

Ljungbacken is a residential care home for children aged 8-12 years with psychosocial and/or neuropsychiatric issues, children with complex behavioral problems, and children with aggressive behavior. Our operations are characterized by structure, safety, and relationship-based work in a home-like environment. We provide treatment based on CBT principles, low-arousal responses, and environmental therapeutic methods – where every situation is seen as an opportunity for learning.

Ljungbacken has five places, as well as two special apartment placements for children needing more individual support. Treatment is conducted in close collaboration with the facility's psychologist, child psychiatrist, and other professionals within Amplius's specialist team.

About the role

As a treatment leader at Ljungbacken HVB, you are responsible for all treatment. This means you have overall responsibility for planning, follow-up, and quality assurance of care and treatment interventions for the placed children. The role has a clear focus on mapping, treatment interventions, and coordination of the treatment process.

You will conduct assessments, mappings, and structured risk assessments, establish and revise implementation and treatment plans, and follow up on treatment results and changing risk and need levels over time. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the operations manager, the specialist team, and treatment pedagogues, where you ensure that interventions are conducted in a structured, methodologically faithful manner and in accordance with the assignment.

The role involves coordinating responsibility for each child as well as support to treatment pedagogues through guidance, follow-up, and clear feedback. You will also be responsible for collaboration with social services, guardians, schools, and other relevant actors, as well as for startup and follow-up meetings and continuity in contact regarding the children's care process, including issues related to school, home and outdoor activities, and legal processes.

You will act as a supervisor and guide for treatment pedagogues and treatment assistants from a treatment perspective. In the role of treatment leader, you will work with:

- ensuring that children's treatment planning is conducted in a structured and qualitative manner in accordance with the care plan and assignment

- ensuring that the child is involved in their treatment

- being responsible for establishing implementation plans, record-keeping, and writing monthly and final reports

- leading team work around the child, which also includes HSL interventions

- being responsible for follow-up meetings and other contacts with social services

- conversing with the children using appropriate methods

- guiding staff in the treatment work

Your immediate supervisor is the operations manager. Working hours are daytime on weekdays. A portion of your working hours will be included in the daily staffing.

About you

We are looking for someone with at least two years of post-secondary education in social work as a social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue, behavioral scientist, social worker, or who has other education combined with experience that we consider equivalent. You have at least four years of experience in treatment work at residential care homes or within LSS, as well as experience working with children and young people with neuropsychiatric disabilities. Knowledge of and experience working according to Environmental Therapy, CBT, low-arousal responses, and MI is desirable, as well as experience with behavioral observations, behavioral analysis, and social documentation. You also have at least two years of experience working in a leadership role, such as team leader or treatment responsible.

We are looking for someone who wants to be part of an engaged organization in development, where evidence-based treatment and the best interests of the child are always the focus. You have a genuine desire to understand the child's perspective, patience to build trust over time, and the ability to create safety through your calm and stable demeanor. You find it easy to collaborate and value reflection and supervision as a natural part of the work. You need to be able to manage your own emotions in challenging situations and act with professional distance and empathy. You are secure in yourself, unpretentious, and have a high degree of self-awareness.

You have the ability to work in a structured, pedagogical, and conscious manner with CBT and behavioral analysis as a foundation and find it meaningful to be the safe adult who models new skills for the child in everyday life. You see collaboration and communication as a strength, thrive in a team that learns from each other, and are curious about developing both professionally and personally. Your skills in Swedish and English are good, both spoken and written. Additional language skills are a merit.

Are you looking for a job where you can make a difference, where you get to work in a company that has high quality standards and where development and improvement work is a top priority? Do you want to, just like us, go the extra mile and exceed expectations? Welcome with your application!
