The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Bup) in Kristianstad consists of an outpatient clinic and a middle-care clinic, located in a separate building just behind the hospital in Kristianstad. Our development initiative comes from our desire to offer children and adolescents good psychiatric care. Our unit works with stepwise care in both assessment and treatment, using our standardized care processes as guidance for assessment, investigation, and subsequent treatment interventions. Our hope is that the implementation of modern and effective working methods will enable us to meet more children and young people. The specialist psychiatry receives patients with complex issues, and the methods are varied; we provide interventions both individually and in groups, as well as towards patients and their families, and the development opportunities for social workers are many.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now have the opportunity to welcome a new social worker to our clinic!

Your responsibilities include assessment, investigation, and treatment. You will closely collaborate with your colleagues but also cooperate with healthcare neighbors and authorities. There is an opportunity to work with group treatments with various focuses. In the role of social worker, you will serve as a consultative resource in the team within psychosocial and social legal areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an approved degree in social work. If you are a licensed healthcare social worker authorized to practice within Swedish healthcare, this is considered a strong merit. If you belong to a licensed professional group, language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required. For non-licensed professions, good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is required. You should have a strong interest in the patient group, preferably with previous experience and knowledge of investigation and treatment from child and adolescent psychiatry. We consider it a merit if you have Step One training in CBT. Since travel is involved in the position, you need to have a valid B driver's license.

This is a position for someone who is responsible, structured, and can prioritize between different tasks. Furthermore, you have a good ethical approach and a willingness to contribute to improvement work. Since you work closely with your team and relevant actors within healthcare, the municipality, and schools, it is important that you enjoy and have a good ability to collaborate. You are calm and attentive in your interactions, both with patients and colleagues. We are keen to find the right person for the position and place great importance on personal suitability.
