Summer Temporary Position WAKE NIGHT

Reliable, gentle, and responsible assistant needed!

Our daughter requires double staffing and assistance around the clock. She needs an assistant who works awake nights to quickly assist during seizures. There is sleeping on-call support nearby if needed.

We are looking for someone to work as an awake night assistant for our 29-year-old daughter during the summer. She lives in her own apartment at our farm in Östra Göinge municipality. You need to have a car and a driver's license to work with us as we live in a rural area, and you cannot have allergies to pets as animals are part of our daily life.

Our girl has a significant disability and needs help with everything in her daily life. We prefer that you have experience in healthcare, especially with mobility impairments, feeding tubes, epilepsy, and/or alternative communication - but this is not a requirement; we will train you on-site, your personality is what matters most.

It is important to us that you are a caring and attentive assistant, preferably a woman, who can interpret, communicate, and advocate for our daughter. We would like you to have experience in healthcare, but the most important thing is your personality and that we feel safe with each other. We are a genuine and wonderful workgroup and look forward to welcoming another colleague who can brighten our daughter's life and strengthen our team with another big heart.

Shadowing and training as needed.
