The municipal executive office works on behalf of the municipal council. We lead, manage, support, and follow up to ensure that the entire municipality operates efficiently and effectively. In total, we are about 400 employees distributed across five departments. In everything we do, we start from the premise that it should benefit those who live, visit, or work in the municipality.

We at the safety and security section have a mission to lead and support the work with safety and security issues by working strategically and govern on a municipality-wide level. Our area of responsibility is broad and aims to strengthen democracy and legal certainty. This role with a focus on safety and crime prevention includes:

• Developing and strengthening the municipality's safety and crime prevention work, for example through collaboration agreements, overarching activities within social sustainability, and municipality-wide situational awareness.
• Training and exercises; we are a sought-after resource and often support management, administrations, and companies.
• Business development; support and assist management, administrations, and companies in strategic safety and crime prevention work.
• Collaboration with other actors to address common challenges within Huddinge municipality's geographical area of responsibility.

Safety and security issues are highly prioritized in Huddinge municipality. The section consists of about twenty employees.

Your profileAs a person, you are secure, stable, and outgoing. You work in a structured, careful, and systematic manner. You have good collaboration skills, are goal-oriented, and have an easy time learning new things.

In this role, we would like to see you have:

• A university degree in a field that the employer deems relevant or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience in safety and crime prevention.
• Experience in strategic change management, development work, and project management within safety and crime prevention.
• Experience from public operations or other large, complex organizations.
• Experience in strategic governance at a corporate-wide level.
• Experience in collaboration with other authorities at both operational and strategic levels.
