We are looking for a Security Protection Officer in Signal Protection
We are looking for a Security Protection Officer in signal protection who wants to contribute to making Sweden and the world safer. With us, you will have the opportunity to use your skills where they truly make a difference. Together with an experienced team, you will help create solutions that leave a mark – both today and in the future.
About the position
As a Security Protection Officer focusing on signal protection, you will work within the entire signal protection area. Your responsibility is to represent FMV internally and externally within the various areas of responsibility of the Security Protection Unit by supporting, consulting, and providing services in the signal protection area to projects within FMV, to the defense industry, and in collaboration with foreign actors. You may have tasks related to NATO Comsec.
The role involves handling and administration of signal protection products such as signal protection materials, signal protection keys, active cards, and certificates. You are expected to develop and revise instructions, guidelines, work routines, templates, and checklists within the signal protection area.
As a Security Protection Officer, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and following up on signal protection training. In carrying out these tasks, you will work in both Swedish and English. You will also participate in controls within the signal protection area.
With us, you will be part of a positive and knowledgeable team that shares its knowledge and experiences.
The position is based in Stockholm. The job requires that work is performed on-site every working day, with planning allowing for some remote work. Business trips nationally and internationally may occur.
About you
We are looking for someone with signal protection-specific training that we assess as relevant. You have current and relevant experience in handling and administration of signal protection products, such as signal protection materials or signal protection keys. Since you will plan and conduct training, the position requires a very good ability to communicate in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
If you have experience in ordering signal protection systems, signal protection keys, and active cards, we see this as an advantage. We view positively if you have knowledge of newer signal protection systems that we assess as relevant, such as MGGI. Relevant NATO training in the field is meritorious.
Personal qualities are of great importance to us. We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences and are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating with others, is attentive, and solves problems constructively. You are service-oriented and accommodating in your approach and have a desire and interest in helping others. We also see that you are self-driven and have the ability to plan and organize your work effectively. You communicate clearly in various contexts and have the ability to adapt your message to the recipient.
