Do you want to work in a role where security, technology, and service come together in a unique environment? We are now looking for security guards with a focus on operator work for our monitoring center at a client within the museum sector in central Stockholm.

In the role of operator, you are an important part of the client's security organization and contribute to a safe and secure environment for both staff and visitors.

About the role

You will work in a technically advanced environment where service, security awareness, and professionalism are crucial. The role requires good collaboration skills, a calm working style, and a clear understanding of the security guard's responsibilities.

Responsibilities

As an operator/security guard, your tasks include:

• Acting according to the role of a security guard in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines
• Managing and monitoring technical security systems
• Performing alarm management and alarm communication for all objects
• Taking action in case of incidents and deviations
• Monitoring via CCTV
• Receiving external visitors, contractors, and craftsmen
• Administering access cards, employee cards, and keys
• Receiving, registering, and following up on fault reports
• Working closely with team leaders and the client's security organization
• Conducting patrols and ensuring that established security procedures are followed

We are looking for someone who

• Has completed security guard training (VU1 and VU2)
• Is law-abiding, drug-free, and approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company
• Has high social competence and a professional demeanor
• Is flexible, unpretentious, and responsible
• Is service-oriented, helpful, and solution-oriented
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Can work both independently and in a team
• Has a genuine interest in security and service
• Has previous experience working in a monitoring center or similar environment

Requirements for the position

• Completed security guard training (VU1 and VU2)
• At least 1 year of documented experience in a similar position
• Good ability to convey information clearly in speech and writing in Swedish and English

Meritorious

• Multilingualism
• Additional documented security or specialist training
• Experience with the security system Unison

• Start date: By agreement
