About the position

As an Alarm Operator, you will be part of a team responsible for Svenska kraftnät's technical monitoring of facilities and offices. Your tasks will include technical monitoring and information dissemination to relevant parties both within and outside Svenska kraftnät. The primary task is camera patrol and handling incoming alarms. In addition, you will be responsible for collaborating within the framework of guidance and supporting external and internal stakeholders operationally, such as authorities.

The position can be demanding at times during high workloads, which requires you as an Alarm Operator to have high stress tolerance and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritizing work in a structured manner.

In this position, you will develop within the framework of operational security concerning physical safety.

You will belong to the Property Department and the Physical Security Unit, which is responsible for physical security under the Security Protection Act, focusing on operational protection. The unit works with all issues related to physical security as both executor and client. Currently, we have 10 employees and several consultants, including project managers, specialists, and alarm operators.

About you

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you need to collaborate easily both internally and externally and contribute to a good working atmosphere. You need to be able to plan and organize your work effectively and take responsibility for completing tasks on time and with quality. You have the ability to find practical and sustainable solutions even under time pressure. You are clear in your communication and accustomed to informing others. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Furthermore, you have:

• post-secondary education that the employer deems relevant for the position
• experience from a similar role related to authorities or equivalent as assessed by Svenska kraftnät
• several years of work experience in security-sensitive operations that the employer deems relevant for the position
• very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• very good proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Class B driver's license
• access to a personal vehicle for work use.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of:

• work in alarm/monitoring/communication centers
• communication systems
• alarm management systems
• operational protection measures.

• The position is located in Stockholm/Sundbyberg
• No possibility for remote work
• Travel is required in this position
