About the Position

Avarn is now reaching out to those who will attend a security guard training in the spring of 2026 and want to work as a security guard within the assignment in public transport (SL).

The positions are full-time or part-time. Working hours are varied and include day, evening, and night shifts, starting as soon as possible.

Avarn Security now offers the opportunity to have the security guard training financed, provided that certain criteria are met. The training compensation may be paid out before the training is completed, provided that the newly hired employee starts a full-time position as a security guard on an assignment selected by Avarn after completing the training. In case of interruption during the training or deviation from the agreed contract, Avarn may demand repayment of the paid compensation.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is at least 20 years old according to the Security Guards Act (2023:442) and holds a valid security guard permit or has passed the Police suitability tests to begin the security guard training.

It is advantageous if you have extensive experience in the security industry and hold a security guard background education. In addition, you need to be free from criminal records*, drug-free, have a stable economy, good health and physical condition, and have a high school diploma or equivalent education.

* To be employed at Avarn Security AB, you must be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company, in accordance with the Security Companies Act (1974:191). Applications to the County Administrative Board are handled by Avarn Security. Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements according to the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted. This assessment includes compliance with the law, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities.

Important to Know:

• Avarn Security is not responsible for conducting the security guard training. All training is conducted by the Police Authority.
• The application for the training must be made by the applicant themselves, as we cannot assist with this.
• To apply for the position, you must already have a confirmed place in a security guard training during the autumn.
• Unfortunately, we cannot handle inquiries or requests regarding basic training for security guards.
