We are looking for a Security Protection Officer with a focus on Information Security

We are now seeking a Security Protection Officer with a focus on information security who wants to help drive and develop our work within security protection at the authority. Have you worked with information security in a larger organization? Are you proactive, strategic, and have a high ability to collaborate? Then this could be an exciting challenge for you!

About the position

As a Security Protection Officer with a focus on information security, you will provide advice and information to the organization on information security issues. You will represent FMV and collaborate with other authorities/organizations on information security matters. You will participate in and follow up on audits regarding information security and assist in the development and maintenance of regulations, policies, guidelines, and methods as well as training materials in the area. The role also includes developing methodological support including instructions and templates, conducting training, and providing support and advice within the information security area. The position is located at Gärdet in Stockholm.

About you

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education focused on information security or equivalent work experience and qualifications acquired in another way. You have solid knowledge and experience of management systems for information security and experience in information classification. We also see that you have good knowledge of Swedish security protection legislation as well as the Freedom of Information and Secrecy Act. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing, and are accustomed to representing your area of expertise nationally and, where applicable, internationally.

It is advantageous if you have experience in standardizing, setting requirements, and following up on information security work in a larger organization. If you have worked with various regulations within information security and have experience in conducting and following up on compliance checks, this is also considered an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have knowledge of the regulations of the Armed Forces, MSB, or the Security Police regarding information security as well as international regulations within information security, for example regarding the EU and NATO.
