We are looking for a BAS-U within the Tvärbanan Kista branch for an authority in traffic.

This is a consulting assignment. The stationing location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role of the construction work environment coordinator for the execution phase (BAS-U) involves working program-wide across several projects and being part of a central work environment team together with other work environment resources. The assignment includes coordination, monitoring, and ensuring work environment efforts during execution, in close collaboration with project managers, contractors, and work environment strategists.

Responsibilities

Organize and coordinate safety activities and promote safe behaviors at the construction site.

Ensure that a work environment plan is established before commencement, communicated to all involved, and consulted with responsible parties for fixed operating locations when necessary.

Review and follow up on contractors' work preparations, risk assessments, and proposed measures in production.

Ensure access control so that only authorized personnel are present at the workplace.

Ensure that general and special safety devices are established, maintained, and that responsibility distribution is clear.

Ensure that technical devices are inspected and that operators have the necessary competence and permits.

Coordinate contractors working in parallel or in close temporal proximity to achieve satisfactory safety conditions.

Lead work environment meetings and participate in, follow up, and document safety rounds.

Plan and conduct work environment audits together with the program's support functions.

Ensure reporting of incidents and accidents and that corrective and preventive measures are implemented.

Give the green light to contractors before production starts and ensure that work tasks with special requirements are led by authorized personnel.

Ensure that contact paths in work environment issues are clear when BAS-U is not present.

Report to project managers and work environment strategists.

Requirements (Mandatory)

At least 4 years of work experience as BAS-U in construction and civil engineering projects, with at least one project having a budget of at least 100 million SEK.

Documented BAS-U training.

Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Desirable

At least 2 years of work experience as SOA (responsible for track areas).

Training in contract law regarding AB04/ABT09.
