About the Position

Assignment period: February 9, 2026 - December 31, 2026 with a great possibility of extension.

The role is part of the technology unit and collaborates with various roles/departments within the company. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on ongoing and future actions within energy to achieve the City’s goals. In this role, you will have a coordinating and coaching function and be responsible for implementing energy optimization. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the Technology Unit, the management organization, and contracted suppliers/contractors.

Main Responsibilities:

• Act as support for the operations organization, continuously coaching operational technicians, being a sounding board, and suggesting approaches for operational and maintenance work as well as optimizing properties.
• Manage installation coordination and act as an advisor in various technical maintenance projects.
• Initiate and lead investigations focusing on energy measures, prepare calculations and estimate energy savings, and manage follow-up after completed projects.
• Handle reporting of energy consumption and outcomes of energy work both in writing and verbally.
• Participate in and organize meetings related to energy work and conduct training within energy for the internal organization.
• Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and authority requirements.
• Provide necessary documentation to the unit's management for further decisions on measures.
• Other tasks within the unit, such as developing the business by establishing routines, instructions, and participating in and leading various technical investigations.
• Contribute to feedback on experiences and suggest improvements in processes and methods.

Placement

The role is located at one of the client's offices with the entire Stockholm area as the workplace. Some of the work can be performed remotely with regular on-site meetings.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

• Relevant higher education/university degree in energy systems or equivalent education deemed equivalent by the client.
• At least 10 years of experience working as an energy consultant or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in systematic energy optimization in larger housing companies with a portfolio of at least one million square meters A-temp.
• Knowledge and documented experience of laws, regulations, and standards within HVAC, energy, etc.
• Knowledge of investment calculations and economic assessments.
• Good IT system knowledge and administrative skills, as well as experience with digital work methods.
• Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
• Requirement: Driver's license B.
• Knowledge and experience in analyzing district heating consumption.
• Knowledge and experience in optimizing commercial premises.

Language Requirements
