If you are hired and are not already a trained guard, Securitas will cover your training.

The position is a summer temporary job, so we hope you are available for work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

Working as a guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a guard in the city group, you will become part of a close-knit team. The length of shifts varies, but they are often 12-hour shifts either day/evening or night. The schedule also includes work on weekends. The position is based in central Stockholm.

During days and evenings, you primarily work to be a visible security resource in the city environment. Part of the job involves performing contact rounds where you visit businesses that request increased security; this may also involve handling any disturbance alarms or situations with a heightened risk level. Other assignments may also occur.

During nights, you primarily work as a patrolling guard where you are responsible for monitoring several clients during your shift. You travel between clients by car and perform various types of checks, including area surveillance, patrolling inside premises, alarm connections, and closures at clients. In this role, it is important to document your work and any deviations you encounter. The work is independent and often feels free, but with great responsibility. The role suits you if you want a job where you can move around.

You need to be confident in acting in critical situations, able to keep a cool head, and follow routines even under stress. The role suits you if you want to contribute to safety, appreciate variety, and do not shy away from challenging situations.

• B driver's license

Preferred if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• have security guard training and a valid appointment

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legal compliance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
