Job Description

Do you want to make a difference? If you are not already a trained guard, Securitas will cover your training before employment.

As a patrolling guard, your main task is to deliver safety to our customers – primarily at industries, offices, and workshops – by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft, and damage. Typically, you will manage the alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often feels free, but with great responsibility. You will be part of our patrol team based in Jordbro.

Working hours are scheduled at night starting around 19:30 - 07:30 on a 5/4 night shift schedule.

There will be demands on your physical ability, so we prefer that you have the capacity to walk about 10,000 steps per shift and be able to stand for extended periods.

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B
• Trained guard with Vu1 and Vu2

Preferred if you

• have experience in patrolling and response
• good technical skills
• possess good social skills

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, and can handle periods of high work tempo. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and meticulous approach with an eye for detail. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from the first year of high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved under each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns compliance with the law, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
