ISS has an exciting assignment at one of the largest emergency hospitals in Sweden and is now looking for a proactive Fire Technician. Are you driven by technology and working in a sharp, complex operational environment with a socially important mission? Then apply for this position with us!

About the role

At ISS, you will have the opportunity to work both independently and in teams, with varied and technically stimulating tasks. You will plan and carry out troubleshooting, repairs, and actions on fire protection systems in our customers' properties, with a particular focus on Danderyd Hospital. Sometimes you may also assist with new installations.

Your duties will include:

• Service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of fire protection systems
• Testing and ensuring that the systems function as they should
• Conducting evacuation drills, replacing components, being able to perform a SBA, conducting rounds, audits, and inspections
• Leading training in fire protection
• Daily customer contact, where high customer service and a professional approach are of utmost importance
• Conducting weekly, quarterly, and annual inspections of fire alarms and sprinkler systems

Your base will be at the customer's site at Danderyd Hospital. The position is a permanent full-time employment, with an initial probationary period of six months.

As the hospital operates security-sensitive activities, a security check with a background check will be conducted before employment.

Who are we looking for?

• Relevant education in fire technology or a similar field
• Good knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Experience as a facility manager for fire alarms and sprinklers
• Technical knowledge and good IT skills (Office package, property systems, and follow-up systems)
• Ability to communicate clearly in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• A problem-solving, solution-oriented, and self-driven personality who also thrives in a team
