About the assignmentWe are looking for an interim electrical safety coordinator who can systematically strengthen and develop the work with electrical safety in a research and innovation environment with many different types of operations and facilities. The assignment encompasses both the property owner perspective, the role of tenant for large premises, and the operator's responsibility, with the goal of creating clear, safe, and compliant working methods.
The focus is on inventorying the current situation, establishing/developing governance and routines, and preparing a basis for how a future permanent role should be designed.
Responsibilities- Inventory the current situation regarding electrical safety and propose measures and improvements.
- Develop and structure working methods for electrical safety, including roles, responsibilities, and collaboration between relevant parts of the organization.
- Ensure that self-monitoring programs are established, maintained, and followed by authorized installers.
- Ensure that the right competence and authorization are available for work performed by authorized installers.
- Support that installations and electrical systems are designed, executed, controlled, and maintained safely.
- Identify and manage risks and drive preventive measures.
- Develop and manage documented electrical safety routines and governing documents.
- Be the contact person for the Electrical Safety Authority and other authorities on electrical safety issues.
- Inform, educate, and support managers and employees on electrical safety-related matters.
- Follow up on deviations, incidents, and near misses and initiate improvement measures.
- Be responsible for electrical inspection audits within the framework of the Electrical Board (EN).
- Propose future routines, checklists, templates, division of responsibilities, and competence needs to ensure holder responsibility.
- Prepare proposals on how a future role as an electrical safety coordinator should be designed ahead of planned recruitment.
- At least 5 years of experience in developing routines for self-monitoring programs, electrical safety routines, and holder responsibility.
- At least 5 years of experience in conducting current situation inventories in electrical safety, including proposals for measures.
- Good communication skills.
