Hall Prison is located just outside Södertälje. Approximately 400 employees and 20 managers manage, lead, and develop the operations that accommodate over 350 inmates. The largest professional group is correctional officers, but the prison also employs administrative staff, educators, production leaders, etc. In addition to regular units, the prison also has special units for inmates with specific needs and one of the country's three security units. Inmates are engaged in activities such as education, treatment programs, work operations, and other structured activities (ASV) responsible for creative activities, crafts, gardening, and health.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a correctional officer with a functional assignment in ASV (other structured activities), you will engage and work with the clients of the operation, primarily in groups. Your responsibilities will include planning, implementing, and following up on activities within the ASV operations. Collaboration with various functions and roles within the prison is a very important part of the job.
Your tasks mainly include participating in and motivating good conversations related to creative, craft, and health activities. Ongoing documentation as well as search and monitoring assignments are also part of the role. The ASV team consists of about 20 employees.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who works well with others and acts with good judgment. You communicate clearly, see relationships in their proper perspective, differentiate between the personal and professional, and adapt your behavior to the situation. The role requires a high ability to interact with clients and create a supportive environment in connection with ASV activities. You have a good understanding of people's different conditions and adapt your way of conveying your message accordingly. We would like you to be creatively inclined and have the ability to inspire. You remain calm, stable, and controlled even in stressful situations.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Interest in crafts, creativity, and health.
- Completed upper secondary education or other education combined with work experience deemed relevant by the Swedish Prison and Probation Service.
- At least a couple of years of work experience, including seasonal work, part-time employment, or self-employment. Internships and volunteer work are not considered equivalent to employment.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
- Good computer skills.
It is advantageous if you have experience in:
- Leading groups.
- Craft professions.
- Educational activities, e.g., as a leisure leader.
- Health, nutrition, and dietary science.
- Motivational work.
