Job Description

As an operator, you will work at Securitas Contact Center - our emergency phone service that helps customers around the clock, year-round. Here, you will be an important part of our safety and service work. You will receive incoming calls, assess the situation, and ensure that the right action is taken – quickly and correctly.

We are now looking for a colleague to support our emergency technician operations in Stockholm. Our emergency technicians work with urgent service issues, and your role is to coordinate, plan, and support them in their daily work. Your task is to coordinate efforts for our emergency technicians who are out on property service matters, ensure that the right technician is dispatched, and that the case is handled quickly and efficiently.

You will work according to established routines and guidelines in close dialogue with both customers and technicians, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

Examples of cases that emergency technicians handle:

  • Urgent property issues (e.g., water leaks, heating systems)
  • Lock and security issues
  • Electrical and lighting faults
  • Other emergency assignments within property service

In addition to emergency technician cases, the Contact Center also handles telephone services such as:

  • Property service
  • Parking emergency
  • Safety emergency
  • Crises emergency

We also oversee our control center where we monitor the safety of security guards when they are out with customers, both during routine assignments and alarm responses. You will have close communication with security guards and serve as support throughout their shifts.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and assessing incoming calls
  • Coordinating and planning the emergency technicians' efforts
  • Prioritizing and initiating the right action quickly and correctly
  • Providing support in acute and stressful situations
  • Maintaining close communication with technicians and security guards in the field
  • Ensuring high service and safety for both customers and staff

The position is part-time with a start date to be agreed upon. Working hours are scheduled Monday–Friday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, which corresponds to a position of about 60%.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience in telephone-based communication
  • Approved grades in Swedish and English from high school

As you will be using a computer as your primary tool, we also prefer that you have good computer skills. Experience working in different types of systems while on calls with customers will be advantageous in this role.

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, able to handle periods of high work pace. We also hope that you have a strong interest in technology and find it easy to understand instructions.

Since you will have significant responsibility in your role, but also work very closely with both customers and colleagues, we believe you can work both independently and in a team. Taking responsibility comes naturally to you – you are simply an honest, helpful, and vigilant person who makes those around you feel safe.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
