About the Role

Put on your uniform with us and become part of a strong community where we create safety – every day, around the clock. If you are not already a trained guard, Securitas will cover your training costs.

As a patrolling guard, you will work independently with monitoring at several clients during your shift. You will start from a task list, move between assignments by car, and carry out patrols, area monitoring, alarm activation and deactivation, as well as closures at customer sites.

The assignments vary in both environment and content and can involve work in, for example, basement premises, museums, or retail locations outside regular opening hours. It can be seen as a challenge – but it is also part of the charm. You are the one who creates safety when others have gone home.

The work involves a great deal of personal responsibility and documentation of completed work, but you always have support close at hand. The working hours are mainly scheduled for night shifts, sometimes up to 12 hours long.

The position is a summer temporary position, and we would like you to be available for work during the period of week 25–33. Schedules will be assigned in good time so that you can plan your summer.

Requirements Specification

To work in this role, you must have approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school, as this is a formal requirement for employment. Furthermore, a B driver's license is necessary as the work largely involves using a car in service.

It is advantageous if you have previous experience of similar tasks. Civil or military security guard training is also seen as a benefit and gives you a good foundation to quickly adapt to the role.

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you who are applying are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
