Since the position is a summer temporary job, we wish that you are available for work between weeks 23-33. If you are not already trained as a security guard, training will also take place in the spring - about 2 weeks. You need to be available during these weeks and 100% present during training. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and fun activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

As a security guard, your main task is to deliver safety to our customers. You will do this, for example, in a monitoring center or at an access control point. As a security guard, you have greater authority than a regular guard and often work closely with our customers' staff on objects that are crucial to Sweden's security. As a serving security guard at a customer in Stockholm, you will carry a weapon, which places slightly higher demands on you as an applicant. After a potential security guard training, you will also be trained in handling firearms, where passing shooting is a requirement.

The work is independent and often feels free, but with great responsibility.

Location: Lovön Ekerö

The tasks are highly varied, and as a security guard, you can work both indoors and outdoors, at night or during the day. The length of work shifts varies, but they are often scheduled as 12-hour shifts. Since we are a business that operates every day of the year, it is common to work every other weekend.

You will for example:

• Handle matters within your assignment area
• Ensure that no unauthorized persons have access to the objects
• Staff stationary objects as needed

Requirements

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• B driver's license
• Swedish citizenship
• Approved in security screening

Meritorious if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• have a civil or military security guard training
• have guard training
• Firearms training

As a person, we believe that you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle high work tempo at times. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you, as a candidate, are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, security screening according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved under each regulation, a background check will be conducted.
