We are now recruiting a junior security specialist to the Security Support unit in the Common Functions division.

In the Common Functions division, we support the entire organization and work every day to realize Svenska kraftnät's common goals. Our division gathers expertise in communication, HR, law, procurement, security and preparedness, real estate, and sustainability – all to create a stable and sustainable future for Sweden's energy supply.

About the Position

The Security Support unit primarily works directly with project operations, providing support in various security matters and assisting both facility and operational projects. The security specialists from the unit are responsible for planning and implementing the project's overall security work and are a support for project management in security issues.

Your main responsibilities:

• Conduct special security protection assessments together with the projects
• Support the projects in the process of signing security protection agreements
• Implement knowledge-enhancing measures
• Be an overall support to the project in security matters

In this role, you will have good opportunities to deepen your knowledge in security protection and special security assessments, as well as the opportunity to engage in work with security-sensitive operations and critical infrastructure.

You will contribute to Svenska kraftnät's work on the green energy transition and help protect critical infrastructure in a changing environment.

The Security Support unit belongs to the internal security section in the security and preparedness department. The unit currently consists of eight consultants and an acting unit manager.

About You

Requirements:

We are looking for someone who is collaborative and enjoys working with others to achieve common goals. You are structured and have the ability to plan and organize your work effectively. The role requires you to be relationship-building, as you will establish and maintain good contacts both internally and externally. We also see that you are curious and have a strong desire to learn and develop in the field of security.

Since we are looking for someone with a junior profile, we see that you have a positive attitude towards growing in the role and are eager to acquire new knowledge and working methods.

We expect you to have an academic or other post-secondary education in areas such as law, political science, security, security protection, or other work experience that the employer deems relevant for the position.

You also have:

• Relevant work experience in security and/or security protection
• Good knowledge of security protection legislation and its requirements
• Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working with critical infrastructure
• Experience working with security-sensitive operations
• Experience working in government or public administration
