About the Assignment

Familjebostäder is a public housing company within the city of Stockholm with approximately 350 employees. The company owns, manages, and develops housing and premises with a focus on sustainability, quality, and long-term community benefit.

In connection with a larger property acquisition in Hjulsta, Familjebostäder is now strengthening the Technical Unit and is looking for a Specialist in Energy Optimization. The assignment includes a portfolio of approximately 1,200 apartments and 5,000 sqm of commercial premises, distributed across 41 buildings.

You will be a key person in the operational and strategic energy work and actively contribute to achieving the energy and sustainability goals of the city of Stockholm.

The Role

As a specialist in energy optimization, you will be part of the Technical Unit and work closely with the operations organization, property management, as well as external suppliers and contractors. The role is both coordinating, coaching, and operational, with responsibility for planning, implementation, and follow-up of energy measures.

Main Responsibilities

• Support and coach operations technicians in operational, maintenance, and optimization work

• Act as a technical advisor and installation coordinator in maintenance projects
• 
  
• Initiate and lead energy investigations and develop calculations and energy savings assessments
• 
  
• Follow up and report energy consumption and results, both in writing and verbally
• 
  
• Plan and conduct meetings and internal training on energy
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and authority requirements
• 
  
• Prepare decision-making materials for the unit's management
• 
  
• Contribute to business development through routines, instructions, and improvement proposals

Requirements Profile (mandatory requirements)

• Relevant higher education in energy systems or equivalent education
• 
  
• At least 10 years of experience as an energy consultant or equivalent
• 
  
• At least 10 years of experience in systematic energy optimization in larger housing stock (≥ 1 million sqm A-temp)
• 
  
• Documented knowledge of laws, regulations, and standards in HVAC and energy
• 
  
• Experience in investment calculations and economic assessments
• 
  
• Good IT and system skills as well as experience with digital working methods
• 
  
• Documented experience in analyzing district heating consumption
• 
  
• Experience in energy optimization in commercial premises
• 
  
• Driver's license B
• 
  
• Very good Swedish and English in speech and writing
