Site Support & EHS Engineer

We are now assisting Envirotainer in Rosersberg to recruit a Site Support & EHS Engineer. This is a role for you who want to work with occupational health, environment, and practical site issues in a technical and international business.

About the position

As a Site Support & EHS Engineer, you will play a key role in the organization where you drive systematic occupational health and environmental work and ensure that the facility in Rosersberg has well-functioning, documented, and adhered to routines and processes.

A central part of the role is to be responsible for structured chemical management and ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with applicable legal requirements and internal guidelines.

You will work closely with both internal functions and external partners. The position is based in Rosersberg.

Your main responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that Envirotainer has updated, clear, and functioning methods within occupational health, environment, and chemical management.

Your role includes, among other things:

  • Drive and develop systematic occupational health work and ensure that it is conducted in accordance with applicable legal requirements and standards
  • Be responsible for annual reporting of refrigerants and environmental data to Sigtuna municipality
  • Monitor changes in relevant legislation regarding occupational health, environment, and chemicals and ensure that necessary updates are implemented in the organization
  • Have primary responsibility for chemical management including documentation, administration, and record-keeping
  • Ensure that safety data sheets and product data sheets are available, updated, and correctly managed
  • Ensure that chemicals are used, stored, and handled safely and legally
  • Support the organization in risk assessments related to chemicals and occupational health
  • Ensure that tools, equipment, and instruments are inspected, maintained, and serviced
  • Schedule and follow up inspections, maintenance, and service with external suppliers
  • Be responsible for the calibration of tools and equipment for the entire facility

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who works in a structured manner, takes responsibility, and enjoys managing multiple tasks simultaneously. You plan your work independently and follow up on your tasks until they are completed with high accuracy and integrity.

You have good administrative skills and feel comfortable working in different systems, particularly related to documentation and chemical management. You follow established routines but also have a pragmatic and creative approach that allows you to find practical solutions when routines are lacking or need to be developed.

You are service-oriented, solution-focused, and communicate openly, honestly, and professionally. You thrive in a role where it is important to be flexible, act quickly, and contribute to good collaboration with both colleagues and partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least three years of experience in similar roles within EHS, occupational health, or chemical management
  • Experience working with systematic occupational health work
  • Experience in handling chemicals, safety data sheets, and product data sheets
  • Experience coordinating and motivating team members
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English
  • Experience in root cause analysis such as 5 Why or Ishikawa
