About the Role

Do you want a meaningful job where you lead a larger team of professional security guards in a mission that contributes to Sweden's security?

We are now looking for an operations manager with good operational ability, confidence in decision-making, and an interest in working in a regulated environment. You will have daily responsibility for an operational security service that operates on-site at one of our important Protection clients.

As an operations manager, you will lead the operations together with a number of team leaders. The assignment mainly takes place within the framework of the Protection Act and involves armed security of a protected object. You ensure that the staff has the right competence, follows regulations, and works according to our high quality and safety standards. The role is operational and physical presence on-site is crucial.

To assist you, you have your department manager, planners, and other management to discuss challenges with. At Securitas, we want to be the best in our industry, and in the role of operations manager, you will have a significant impact through regular dialogue with both clients, employees, and colleagues around you.

You are also responsible for:

  • Operational planning, staffing, and follow-up
  • Personnel responsibility and work environment
  • Client dialogue and ensuring delivery quality, as well as delivering security services according to agreements.
  • Financial management and result responsibility for your operational object
  • Ensuring that Securitas policies are followed and adhered to

Requirements Specification

You have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability for the position and expect you to have a high security awareness and personal maturity.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Experience in a supervisory position
  • High school education
  • Driving license B
  • Swedish citizenship

Desirable Qualifications

  • Very good understanding of the Protection Act
  • Experience in a supervisory role in a security-classified service
  • Training or experience in work environment issues
  • Familiarity with financial systems for invoicing, budgeting, forecasting, and result follow-up
  • Certified security training or equivalent
  • Security guard training and weapons training
  • Experience in budget & result responsibility

Security Clearance

Please note that the position is classified in security class and means that you will undergo a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to applicable regulations, a security clearance, background check, and register check will be conducted. The assessment aims to investigate compliance with the law, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities according to applicable regulations. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment of you, your life situation, and financial conditions when assessing your suitability.

In relevant cases, a corresponding check may be made of the person you live with or have a similar relationship with.
