We are looking for a Coordinator - Investment Projects for an authority within traffic.

This is a consulting assignment. The stationing location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The Occupational Safety Coordinator operates within a larger infrastructure project in the construction phase and is responsible for coordinating, developing, and following up on occupational safety work within a project department. The role acts as a link between projects, departments, and central functions and plays a key role in driving preventive and systematic occupational safety work. The assignment involves supporting managers and project leaders and ensuring that legal requirements, contracts, and internal goals regarding occupational safety are met.

Responsibilities

Support, lead, and coordinate occupational safety officers within the project department according to legislation, contracts, and internal requirements

Drive and coordinate preventive and systematic occupational safety work

Ensure that accidents and incidents are investigated, reported, and followed up internally and to relevant authorities

Compile, analyze, and present accident statistics and occupational safety risks

Contribute to and implement cross-administrative routines, working methods, and management systems related to occupational safety

Establish, develop, and manage common working methods, routines, and support documents for occupational safety work

Identify risks together with projects and develop preventive measures

Ensure the projects' follow-up work, including control plans for occupational safety

Introduce, coordinate, and support new occupational safety officers and lead coordination meetings

Provide support and advice during the investigation of accidents and incidents

Plan and conduct occupational safety training and workshops

Work with feedback and improvement work between projects and departments

Establish routines and tools for occupational safety audits and seminars and follow up on implementation

Lead or participate as an auditor in coordinated occupational safety audits

Prepare, participate in, and coordinate occupational safety inspections

Requirements (Note, mandatory)

At least 10 years of verified professional experience in leading occupational safety work in construction projects or larger construction/industrial projects, or similar experience from construction and civil engineering companies.

5 years of experience in leading occupational safety work in construction projects or larger construction/industrial projects, or similar experience from construction and civil engineering companies, during expansion and design.

Experience in leading occupational safety work during the construction phase in at least 1 large project (project budget over 300 million SEK).

Very good knowledge of relevant occupational safety legislation such as the Work Environment Act, regulations, and the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations, from at least 1 previous assignment.

Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Very good knowledge of English in both speech and writing; you must have used English daily in at least 1 previous assignment.

Desirable

Documented experience from at least 1 previous assignment of proactive occupational safety work by planning working methods, formulating goals and requirements.

2 years of experience working with occupational safety on the client side.

Experience in following up on occupational safety issues.

Conducted audits in the field of occupational safety.
