We are looking for an experienced product and system safety profile for an assignment within the defense industry. You will work with advanced systems and optical products where safety, precision, and reliability are business-critical. The role involves close collaboration with development and engineering teams to ensure that products and systems meet relevant requirements and standards throughout the product lifecycle.

• Plan and conduct risk and safety analyses for products and systems
• Develop, follow up, and further develop safety plans and safety analyses according to established standards
• Conduct risk identification and analyze using methods such as FMEA, FMEDA, and system safety analyses
• Apply MIL-STD-882 and relevant parts of ISO 26262 in development projects
• Collaborate with system engineers, project managers, and quality assurance personnel to drive safety efforts forward
• Ensure documentation and reporting according to applicable processes

• Engineering degree, preferably in systems, mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics
• 8-12 years of experience in product or system safety work within defense, automotive, or manufacturing industries
• Documented experience in risk and safety analyses
• Very good knowledge of MIL-STD-882, FMEA, FMEDA, and ISO 26262
• Strong ability to work systematically and analyze complex systems
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
• Ability to undergo and be approved for a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not permitted)
