About the Organization:

Within the Social Administration, approximately 600 employees currently work together to carry out preventive and supportive tasks within both social services and care. The Social Administration has a special responsibility for critical community functions and for ensuring that support for vulnerable groups works even during disruptions, crises, and heightened preparedness. We are now strengthening our work in this area and expanding the role from a part-time position to a full-time position. We are now looking for a Safety and Preparedness Coordinator for the Social Administration's staff who wants to help strengthen our capacity in these areas. In the role of Safety and Preparedness Coordinator, you will be a strategic and operational support to the management and operations of the administration. We have come a long way, but there is still much to develop, which is why there are opportunities to influence the design of the work and the role.

Job Responsibilities:

In the role of coordinating and developing the Social Administration's work in safety, crisis preparedness, and civil defense, tasks include developing, updating, and following up on risk and vulnerability analyses (RSA), continuity plans, and preparedness plans. This also includes supporting operations in planning for disruptions, peacetime crises, and war. Since the POSOM responsibility in the municipality lies with the Social Administration, support is needed in coordinating this work and also with the municipality's safety points. In the safety aspects, it includes supporting operations in matters concerning physical security and safety in operations and premises such as staff alarms, threats and violence, and fire safety issues. In all areas, contributing to compliance with legislation and national requirements in the areas of safety, crisis preparedness, and civil defense is included. The role also includes coordinating any state grants related to these areas of responsibility.

The coordinator will also be responsible for planning and conducting training, exercises, and information efforts in the operations. This person will collaborate closely with the municipality's central functions, other administrations, and external actors.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant academic education in safety, crisis preparedness, public administration, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• Experience working with safety and/or preparedness issues/civil defense in complex operations, preferably within public operations.
• Good knowledge of public operations, preferably municipal operations.
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
• Driving license B.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience from social services or other critical community functions.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g., LSO, OSL, SoL, HSL).
• Experience leading or coordinating projects, training, or exercises.
