About us
The Swedish Armed Forces Logistics (FMLOG) is responsible for logistics support to units, schools, and centers within the Armed Forces (FM) - nationally and internationally. FMLOG includes, among other things, the Armed Forces Transport Unit, which constitutes the central transport management of the Armed Forces, with functional management responsibility for the transport service within the Armed Forces and the task of coordinating the implementation of the Armed Forces' strategic and operational transports of personnel, equipment, and entire units. Transportations are conducted as air transport, sea transport, road, and rail transport, both within and outside Sweden. The Development and Functional Department supports higher management planning with specialist knowledge in transport functions such as contracts, customs, and dangerous goods, as well as subject area specialists within each mode of transport.
Main tasks
The tasks are varied, including both administrative work and work in the field such as training, inspections, and on-site advice during ongoing operations. The position involves collaboration within the Armed Forces, with other authorities, with the business community, and with the Armed Forces' international partners and allies.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Security Advisor for Dangerous Goods Road, certified by MCF (formerly MSB) or equivalent knowledge
- Several years of experience in handling dangerous goods transport
- Swedish driving license B
- Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English
Personal qualities
We are looking for someone who is responsible, proactive, and self-driven. You enjoy working both independently, in teams, and in projects. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
DESIRABLE
- Certified Security Advisor for Dangerous Goods with a focus on sea, rail, or air
- Qualified ADR instructor; driving qualifications, basic, explosive, tank, and radioactive
- Good knowledge of the Armed Forces' regulations regarding the transport of dangerous goods
- Experience in training on Dangerous Goods
- Chemical knowledge, experience in classification
- Technical vehicle knowledge

Employment form: Permanent. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not already employed by the authority.
