About the Job
In the role of operational business developer, you will be a support to managers and employees in preparing, coordinating, implementing, and following up on development work. You will take on the challenge of working strategically while also having a key role in the operational aspect of translating work into daily operations. You will work together with managers and strategic business developers towards the authority's development goals.
Your tasks will focus on improvement and development work within the unit. In your daily work, this means supporting both managers and employees in developing work methods and processes, for example. You will be part of a cross-functional group that identifies, processes, develops, and prioritizes improvement and development initiatives. You will then lead the implementation work. To progressively develop the authority, we work methodically based on an agile approach. An important part of your work is to ensure that the authority operates uniformly and efficiently.
Everyone working at the Enforcement Authority contributes to the fight against crime. Your tasks include identifying and preventing attempts at criminal activity and notifying other authorities of suspected crimes. As a business developer, you may, for example, develop common routines and unify work methods.
The place of employment is Sundbyberg at the section for Authorized Authority and Foreign Affairs. The section is part of the Enforcement Authority's Execution South & Foreign unit, which includes eight other sections. The assignment involves international cooperation and foreign-related matters within the Enforcement Authority.

Your Qualifications:
- Academic education of at least 180 credits (120 points according to the previous system) in law, political science, social sciences, social knowledge, economics, behavioral science, or other equivalent education
- Current documented experience in leading assignments in business development, e.g., focusing on continuous improvements to streamline work methods
- Current documented experience in driving your own assignments in complex organizations requiring coordination and collaboration across multiple organizational units, as well as experience in investigating, implementing, and presenting assignments
- Good IT skills.
It is desirable that you have current experience in business development at the Enforcement Authority or another similar government agency.

Good to Know
The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as a business developer. Travel in the job may occur. The Enforcement Authority offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer.
Working in the government means adhering to the government value framework. There are also special requirements for judgment, security thinking, and compliance with applicable laws. We ask questions during the interview about any previous criminal activity and shortcomings in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also posed to referees. We also collect information about debts registered with the Enforcement Authority, bankruptcy, and business prohibitions. The information obtained is weighed in the overall assessment of your suitability for the current position.
Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security clearance with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
