Accounting Assistant/Administrator

We are looking for an accounting assistant/administrator for our administrative unit in Kungsholmen, adjacent to the S:t Göran hospital area.

Norra Stockholms psykiatri (NSP) is a university clinic within SLSO with a comprehensive education and research mission. We provide acute and planned specialist psychiatric care for adults and operate in Alvik, at S:t Eriksplan, and at the S:t Göran hospital area, which also houses Stockholm's only general psychiatric emergency department for adults.

Responsibilities

In the role of accounting assistant, you will work closely with our controller and be responsible for ongoing accounting and financial administration. This includes handling supplier and customer invoices, bookkeeping orders, and being the clinic's contact person for our financial system Raindance. You will participate in budget work, monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and be responsible for internal reporting and simpler analyses. The work also involves handling enforcement decisions, payment orders, and financial administration related to research and education projects. You will provide support to managers and employees on financial-related issues.

As an administrator, you will work with reporting and operational systems, compilations, simpler reports, meeting administration, and internal communication. You will support managers in administrative routines, handle orders, contracts, and permissions. The role also involves assisting managers in administrative processes and coordination tasks.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, solution-focused, meticulous, and structured, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You have an economics degree from a university or college and experience working with finance, or alternatively, a high school economics education supplemented with relevant experience. Experience from a politically governed organization is an advantage. You are accustomed to working in financial systems and have excellent knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel. Experience with Raindance is a plus. You express yourself fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Employment Form

Permanent full-time employment (39.5 hours/week), probationary employment may occur. Start date according to agreement.
