About the assignment

We are looking for a senior accountant for our client in Sigtuna for a full-time consulting assignment (40h/week) through us at Bemannia. The assignment is expected to start immediately and run until 2026-05-28. The work can be performed both on-site and remotely to some extent by agreement.

Your tasks

As a senior accountant, you will work independently and systematically with qualified accounting tasks, contributing both analytical skills and high quality throughout the closing process. The role includes, among other things:

• Annual financial statements

• Reconciliation of balance accounts

• Preparation of documentation for the annual report

• Preparation of data for the Financial Summary (RS)

• Quality assurance of RS documentation

• Reporting according to SCB's requirements

• Reconciliation of internal transactions within the municipal group

• Preparation of consolidated financial statements in the municipal group

• Reconciliation and dialogue with municipal companies

The work takes place in close dialogue with the accounting manager, accounting strategist, and other colleagues in the accounting unit to ensure correct deliveries and effective collaboration throughout the financial process.

Your qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting

• At least 2 years of documented experience in municipal accounting

• Experience with annual financial statements and annual reports

• Experience with consolidated financial statements within a municipality or corporate group

• Good knowledge of municipal regulations such as:

• Municipal Accounting Act

• Council for Municipal Accounting (RKR)

Meritorious

• Experience with the Raindance financial system

• Experience with RS reporting
