• Drive strategic initiatives related to compliance risk assurance, oversight and reporting, to continuously enhance Swedbank’s risk posture.

• Act as the Process Lead for one of the key focus areas within the team’s scope, taking full ownership and lead in the delivery of its annual goals and deliverables.

• Define and deliver comprehensive KRI frameworks and reporting, ensuring transparent and concise communication of key risk information to the Board and executive management.

• Drive Swedbank’s quarterly reporting from Group Compliance, covering all risk types reported by Compliance from the 2nd line perspective (Regulatory Compliance Risk, Financial Crime Risk, and Conduct Risk) along with the team, your manager and other Compliance stakeholders. Streamline reporting processes by simplifying and automating reporting needs from Compliance.

• Work on Compliance’s risk assessment module leveraging the bank’s Risk & Controls objective Library, ensuring the Bank can evaluate and assess its risk exposure and appetite adherence on a continuous basis.

• Support projects within Swedbank as a Compliance and Risk SME, to help modernise governance risk and control (GRC) frameworks and systems transformation across 1st and 2nd lines of defence.

• Help shape the bank of the future, where your curiosity and creative thinking will enable us to adapt to new regulatory requirements and evolving risks.

• Explore and implement innovative approaches with GenAI and advanced ICT solutions to develop risk assurance and compliance practices.

• 7-10 years of experience as risk or compliance officer/manager, or as management consultant in the field, with demonstrated experience in leading complex change or strategic transformation in the financial sector.

• You are skilled at engaging multiple stakeholders in large organisations, and adept at planning, leading, implementing, and following up on risk assurance and compliance processes.

• Solid expertise in non-financial risk management or compliance risk assessment, including the ability to establish risk appetite statements, apply quantitative metrics to develop robust KRI frameworks to evaluate and report on risk exposure, and perform compliance risk assessments and activity planning.

• Proven ability to produce compliance reports for senior leadership, supporting data-driven decision-making.

• Interest and experience with GenAI and ICT; you are curious, creative, and comfortable exploring new technology to advance compliance and risk oversight.
