We are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller for our client Orkla Care Sweden in Solna. About the role

As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the company's accounting and reporting, ensuring that the work maintains high quality and complies with applicable regulations. You will work independently with the annual financial closing and play an important role in developing and streamlining accounting processes, with a particular focus on systems and structure.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

• Responsibility for accounting and reporting
• VAT and tax declarations
• Independently prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Work in SAP, reporting in Tagetik, and system-related accounting issues
• Quality assure and take full responsibility for the balance sheet and proactively work with reconciliations
• Be responsible for the preparation of the annual report
• Contact and collaboration with the Shared Service Center in Tallinn
• Set up new suppliers in the Supplier Portal
• Drive improvement projects and efficiencies within accounting

About you

We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in finance and several years of experience in qualified accounting, preferably from a larger company. You are used to working independently and feel confident taking full responsibility for an annual financial closing.

You have a broad technical understanding and have previously worked in SAP, which is a requirement for the role. Experience in the FMCG industry and Tagetik is an advantage. Regarding Excel, the role requires you to have a basic understanding of how the tool is used in accounting contexts.

As a person, you are self-driven, structured, and responsible. You have a proactive attitude and a solution-oriented approach and thrive in a role where you can drive your work forward independently. You are communicative and can explain financial information in a pedagogical way to different parts of the organization. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
