Section for Physical Security, RK Security, Administrative Department

Are you an analytical controller looking to work with planning and follow-up within the Government Offices' security department? Are you quality-conscious and interested in both operations and numbers? We offer you a central and varied role with many points of contact in a developing and eventful environment.

As a controller within the security department and the unit for protection and surveillance, you will primarily work with contract management, procurement, delivery follow-up, and financial management, as well as with follow-up in both line and project organizations.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Working with budgeting, calculation and forecasting, and continuous financial follow-up of line operations and projects.
  • Contract management.
  • Preparing decision-making documents, drafting PMs, and processing cases.
  • Producing reports on budgets, forecasts, and outcomes.
  • Representing your own organization within the unit, department, and the entire Government Offices, as well as collaborating with the department's partners and suppliers.
  • Participating in efforts to develop work methods and efficiencies.
  • Supporting managers and officers in contract, procurement, and financial matters.

As a controller, you will be part of the unit for physical protection and surveillance, which is one of three units in the Security Department. Your role also means that you may work with other administrative tasks within the unit and department, both in project and line organizations.

Your background

We are looking for someone with a relevant higher education or equivalent knowledge that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have current and relevant experience as a controller in a line organization and/or in a project organization. You also have experience in drafting contracts, orders, purchases, and public procurement, and have good knowledge of Excel. You also have good knowledge of the tool Unit4 Business World or equivalent.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with financial management in the public sector and if you have experience in drafting and following up on time and resource plans. It is also advantageous if you have experience working in an organization that is subject to operational and/or security protection, as well as knowledge of security and operational protection. We also consider it advantageous if you have training in LOU/LUFS, training in business and/or contract law, and if you have security-related training. Knowledge of the project tool Antura is also advantageous.

Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement. Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is also a requirement.

Other

The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. The position is classified in a security class, and a security review with a background check will be conducted before a decision on employment is made. You must be a Swedish citizen but may have a foreign background.
